'Tresaith is a little piece of heaven for kids of all ages...'

Having been on holiday to Cartrefle since before we started a family (we now have 4) we know what it is like to go on away with young kids and the amount of 'stuff' that is needed. We have tried to make things as simple as possible by providing lots of these things free of charge to families staying with us. We have recently won a GOLD award for our family friendliness! We have stored all the bits and bobs away so that for those not travelling with kids it doesn't feel like you are spending a week in a branch of Mothercare!

  • Full size Travel Cot with comfortable mattress

  • Ikea High Chair

  • Microwave Steriliser

  • Large Blender and a hand blender

  • Plastic plates/cups/bowls and cutlery for small people

  • Step Ups in the bathroom

  • Toilet seats

  • Baby Monitor

  • 2 Potties

  • Socket covers

  • Booster seat (dining)

  • Bed guards

  • Play Pen (there are attachments at the back end of the lounge for the fireguard to act as a play pen)

  • Stair gates

and for the bigger kids...

  • DVD player

  • Games

  • Buckets and Spades

  • Boules set

  • Wetsuits

  • 3 Kayaks and paddles (life jackets available as well)

We have stair gates on the ground floor and on the top floor which is where the playroom is. There are locks on the second floor/velux windows. There is a fire guard that doubles a a playpen. The back outside space can be secured off in various parts. The top of the garden is fenced off with a patio area for adults to sit and 'relax' while the kids are playing safely. Parents should ensure the side gate is shut as the front of the house is open to the steps and sloping garden. We haven’t put cupboard locks on the kitchen doors as most adults tend to struggle to use them!
